International Blockbuster 'The Science of ...' Debuts in North America

Private venture between London's Science Museum and Fleming Media expands into the U.S. with aliens and spying exhibitions

NEW YORK, Oct. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Science & Media LLP, a private venture between London's world-renowned Science Museum and Fleming Media, today announced the arrival "The Science Of.." a series of highly popular exhibits into North America.

The first exhibition, The Science of Aliens, will debut at the Miami Museum of Science and Planetarium, November 18, 2006. The exhibit focuses on the science of alien life-forms. The company will tour "The Science Of ... " to other leading venues in the U.S., while subsequent exhibitions planned will address the science behind such topics as spying, speed, crime and sound.

"The Science Of ... " exhibits are designed to showcase the latest findings from the world of science through immersive experiences and they will all have a contemporary and thought-provoking theme. It provides families with a variety of interactive entertainment, education and cutting-edge design.

The Science of Aliens successfully premiered at London's Science Museum in 2005. In addition to opening in Miami next month, it is also scheduled to tour other leading venues throughout the world, including the Cite des Sciences et de l'Industrie, in Paris on November 14, 2006.

The next exhibit, The Science of Spying will be premiering this coming March at the Children's Museum of Indianapolis. "The Science of ... " has developed a hands-on interactive science exhibition that offers visitors the chance to become a spy. The exhibition will show how new technologies enhance traditional spy skills and enable a diverse range of people to engage in monitoring, surveillance and spying. It will also raise issues around security and privacy.
